Philippians 4:8 Amplified Bible
Finally, [a]believers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].
Excellence can be attained if you develop the HABIT of excellence and care more than others think is wise, risk more than others think is safe, dream more than others think is practical, and expect more than others think is possible above all follow Jesus with passion and excellence.
Remember you were created for a purpose.
You’re a remarkable person, do you know that, do you believe it. For many, buried among apathy, unbelief and inhibition, is the real “you” waiting to be released, but you already knew that. However there are times when we let life’s disappointments get in the way, several temporary defeats here and there, and POOF! just like that, you settled for being a risk-conscious, you don’t take opportunities, you talk yourself out of things Nobody has ever made any progress by standing still.
You’re not the exception; and you’re not alone. In fact, you have plenty of company. But, why settle for a life that looks like just about everyone else’s? Do something magnificent with your God-given gifts and boldly distinguish yourself from the masses. Decide-on this day-to connect with your brilliance, within. You were not born to be “mild.” There’s an entire world out there starving for your gifts. How long will you continue to wait to take those initial steps out of your comfort zone!
Commit to developing a habit of excellence and start with just two things to change your daily habit and do everything with passion and excellence and you will release your latent potential, its only the mind that holds you back so now from this moment onwards ignite your passion. Take a deep breath remember who you are in Him and take a step forward with confidence.
Everything you need you have already. It’s inside. You know the right thing to do, but it takes work.
The bible says in 2 Peter 1:3-4: His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
1 Corinthians 9:24 (AMP) Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.
Fill your life with passion and excellence, step out of your comfort zone to ‘Be Who You Can Be in Christ’.
